Far away from mass tourism, in the North-East of the island of Bali, lies the village of Bondalem, with a population of 5000.
The inhabitants live on fishing, coffee harvesting, cloves and fruit orchards or work as carpenters and chauffers etc.
Bali Sandat (Ylang-Ylang) is situated at the edge of the village,
directly on the Pacific Ocean.
